Called and asked about a tres leches cake. Was told today (Thursday) would be the last day to order one for Saturday pick-up. My friends wanted to get the cake for me for my bday, so they called separately and are told they need to place the order in person. So they drive to the bakery and their order starts getting taken and then when they say they want it to be tres leches, are told they arent making that flavor yet. Not sure why it’s a seasonal thing. But two separate phone calls (specifically asked about ordering it today) and no one said anything about it being seasonal and unavailable.

Cute, panadería. Concha: 8/10 Very good & fluffy, would get again Churro: 6/10, I’m sure it would have been great fresh, but late in the afternoon it is only okay. Oreja: 8/10 I wish it was a little flakier, but still very good. Super reasonably priced, convenient, nice service, I would come back

Greatly convenient Mexican bakery here in Golden Hill. They have a lot of great options to choose from. I always have my go to’s which you can see pictured here. It was also nice seeing the bakers folding dough through the glass window. Keep an open mind and try some fresh Mexican pastry’s/ Pan Dulce. Especially if you’re coming to San Diego for the first time.

Not cash only - will take a debit or credit card. HUGE selection of bakery items and you can watch the bakers hand rolling all the pastries. The smell is amazing! Bought a big selection of goodies and everything has been excellent! What a find!

Not cash only anymore, they charge 50 cents per debit card or credit card. 😃 the prices are excellent, the desserts are truly authentic and amazing to the area. Take some sort of translation on your phone because the items are labeled in Spanish. Worth It, Go!!
